A PAKENHAM man has been charged with the shooting of a man in Garfield last week.
Police were called to a Garfield Road property about 4.30am on Thursday and found a 40-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The Garfield man was airlifted to The Alfred hospital in a serious condition.
A Pakenham man was arrested and charged with intentionally causing serious injury, conduct endangering life and firearms offences. He was remanded in custody.
