PAKENHAM police have issued a warning to residents this bushfire season.
About 1.30am on 5 January, police cautioned a 17-year-old Pakenham youth who was playing with matches in the Heritage Springs estate.
At 2.40pm on 6 January, members of the public extinguished a fire that started from a cigarette butt on the corner of Shearwater Drive and Cardinia Road in Pakenham.
