Winners and grinners

THE Ladies from the Pakenham Golf Club played nine holes and then held their annual presentation day last Thursday.
Only 10 die-hard ladies played in the competition as hot and windy 35-degree conditions proved not too appealing for all. Winning with a fantastic score of 21 points was Irene Walker and down the lines went to Jan Creagh on 20 points and Marg Heslin on 19.
Prior to presentations a beautiful Christmas luncheon, complete with plum pudding and pavlova was enjoyed and our thanks go to Michael, Donna and Dee. The function room was beautifully decorated and the tables very festive with bonbons, all thanks go to Wendy.
A visit from Santa (David Hoare) was great fun as Kris Kringle gifts where given out to all. After lunch the trophies were awarded to the clever golfers of 2012.
