WHEN 13-year-old Sheyanne Aspinall lost her aunt to ovarian cancer in February this year, she decided she wanted to make a change and raise awareness.
She’s hoping to cut off her long blonde locks and donate them to charity – to help make a wig for someone with cancer who has lost their hair.
It’s an impressive feat for the young teen, and her mum Lee is proud of her daughter.
“She wants to give back – she says there are people who are worse off than her,” Lee said.
Lee is hoping to hear from local hairdressers who would be able to help do the big chop.
Sheyanne said she decided to cut her hair off after reading a story about similar donations in the Pakenham Gazette.
