STAFF at Pakenham Priceline were excited after their store was named as Priceline’s Franchise Store of the Year for Victoria for 2012.
To celebrate the award, the Pakenham store was chosen to launch ‘Pinky’ – a fully fitted mobile beauty parlour that will travel along the east coast of Australia.
The introduction of ‘Pinky’ will coincide with the companies involvement in ACP’s 30 days of fashion and beauty, which takes place throughout the month of September.
Priceline is a long-term sponsor of this program.
It will also overlap with the recently relaunched loyalty program, the Priceline Sister Club, which proudly includes more than 3.9 million members.
Television personality Catriona Rowntree visited the Pakenham store on Saturday to pioneer the mobile beauty parlour and assisted in the official introduction.
Franchisee and owner of Priceline Pharmacy in Pakenham, Karen Dougall said the event was a great success.
“There were a number of people come along,” she said.
“They were of all ages too, young and old.”
Karen also said how her staff were thrilled to be honoured with the award – Priceline Franchise of the year.
“We were ecstatic and very proud of our staff,” the owner said.
“Because when it comes down to it it’s the staff that make it what it is.”
The official launch at the Pakenham store marked the first event for the month long tour.
During September, Pinky will act as ‘The Sister Clubhouse’, where women all across Australia will be pampered by mini makeovers, as well as receive gift bags and beauty demonstrations by Australia’s leading beauty editors.
The event was also attended by Priceline and API CEO and MD, Stephen Roche who assisted Catriona Rowntree in the launch.
Pinky will be supported by the Priceline website and its social media channels, such as Facebook, which will provide information on times and locations.
