Survey for home policy

CASEY residents can give feedback on their preferred housing options in a new council survey.
The City of Casey is currently reviewing a policy on shared or group housing options such as rooming houses, emergency and crisis housing, student housing and hostels in the area.
In conjunction with the review of the policy, the council is undertaking a Housing Diversity Survey.
City of Casey Mayor Sam Aziz said the council was seeking community feedback to better understand residents’ housing choices and whether residential development in Casey is meeting the community’s needs.
“The Housing Diversity Survey has been prepared to gather feedback on housing diversity in Casey and the issues that need to be considered in the review of council’s Housing Diversity Statement,” Cr Aziz said. Feedback from the survey will be used to create a policy and for the review of the Housing Diversity Statement, which aims to encourage a diverse range of housing types in Casey to meet the needs of the community.
For more information, or to complete the survey by Wednesday 29 February, visit www.casey.vic.gov.au/housing or contact City of Casey Customer Service on 9705 5200.
