Fenton shows his magick

THE weather was kind to the Narre Warren little athletes for their second week back at the Dandenong Little Athletics Club after the Christmas break.
Under-13 boy Christopher Fenton broke his fourth club record for the season, adding the 400 metres to his already impressive list of records in the 800, 1500 and the 1300 Steeple running events. Fenton ran an impressive time of 1:05.77 shaving 0.09 from the old record of 1:05.86 set in March 2006. Just a reminder that there will be no training on Thursday 26 January as this is the Australia Day holiday.
Training will resume at Max Pawsey on Thursday 2 January.
Due to the resurfacing of the oval at Max Pawsey Reserve the oval will no longer be available for training.
The club will have a limited training program for athletes for the remainder of the season.
The next competition day is Saturday 29 January and parents are reminded that without parental assistance the program each week cannot run so please remember to sign on for duty as early as possible.
The club will be running a barbecue this Saturday morning and families are urged to support the club. For any further information call Kerry on 9703 2239 or 0412 482237.
