Days left for housing input

CASEY residents are encouraged to give feedback on their preferred housing options.
The City of Casey is currently reviewing a policy on shared or group housing options, such as rooming houses, emergency and crisis housing, student housing and hostels in Casey.
The council is undertaking a Housing Diversity Survey to gather feedback from the community on their preferred housing options.
City of Casey Mayor Sam Aziz said the council wanted to better understand residents’ housing choices, and whether residential development in Casey was meeting the community’s needs.
“The Housing Diversity Survey has been prepared to gather feedback on housing diversity in Casey and the issues that need to be considered in the review of Council’s Housing Diversity Statement,” Cr Aziz said.
Feedback from the survey will be used to create a policy and for the review of the Housing Diversity Statement, which aims to encourage a diverse range of housing types in Casey to meet the needs of the community.
For more information, or to complete the survey by Tuesday 31 January, visit www.casey.vic.gov.au/housing or contact City of Casey Customer Service on 9705 5200.
