Woman found stabbed

POLICE are investigating the stabbing death of a woman whose body was found in a Doveton unit Monday morning.
Police said it appeared that the woman, 53, was stabbed a number times but said a weapon has not been located.
Investigators want to speak to anyone who attended the Kanooka Grove property on Sunday night or saw any suspicious activity in the area around 12.50am, the time of the stabbing.
