POLICE believe a fire at an opportunity shop in Doveton on Wednesday morning was deliberately lit.
Emergency services were called to the Autumn Place premises after midnight.
Police said it was believed unknown offenders used an accelerant to set fire to a plastic bag containing clothes, which was located at the front of the shop, before they fled the scene.
The blaze caused damage to the front of the building.
