Club’s three win day

THE heat was on for the Narre Warren Bowls Club on Saturday and the warm weather brought out the best in all three teams, all being successful in a great day for the club.
Division three started the bowl rolling with a hard fought victory over Waverley Golf.
Three rinks were successful as the team finally got on top of a dogged opponent to record a nine shot victory.
Division five have started the season off like a house on fire and that continued on Saturday.
The team is on top of the section seven ladder and consolidated that position with all rinks winning and a 27 shot victory.
Speaking of top sides, it was top side Hampton Park that were the target of the Narre Warren division seven side on the weekend and the match turned into a classic.
The rink skipped by Sandra Lapham was the only winning rink for Narre Warren but it proved just enough to cover the three losing rinks and the team one by one shot.
A great feeling to win the close ones.
