A NARRE Warren South resident was taken to hospital after her car hit a light pole outside her house on Tuesday afternoon.
Police and fire crews were called to a residence on Robinswood Parade about 3.30pm.
Narre Warren Fire Brigade third Lieutenant Damien Baker said the car hit the pole causing the pole to snap in half.
Fire crews had to turn off the electricity in the area for about an hour until the car was safely removed from the light pole.
Lieutenant Baker said the woman was taken to hospital with what he believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
