A NEW multipurpose facility at Southern Cross Primary School in Endeavour Hills has been officially opened and Holt MP Anthony Byrne congratulated all involved in the project.
“It has been fantastic to see local principals, parents and tradespeople working together to deliver these important projects,” he said.
He singled out principal Averil Nunn for her hard work in ensuring the project’s success.
“Now that this project is complete, teachers and students at Southern Cross will be teaching and learning in the 21st century facilities that they deserve,” he said.
“I am delighted to open this multipurpose facility, to witness first hand, the impact that its construction has had on the community and to hear of the many practical functions that the facility will be used for by this school and the broader community.”
The facility was opened as part of the Australian Government’s Building and Education Revolution.
