CARDS and $50 in cash were stolen when a 16-year-old boy was assaulted in Lawson Pool Reserve, Cranbourne, about 1am on 12 December.
The teenager and his girlfriend were walking home from a party through the reserve when he was punched in the back of the head and thrown to the ground.
He was punched multiple times while the offenders tried to steal his backpack, and suffered bruising and swelling to his jaw and mouth.
There was no description of the offenders.
