AGAINST top team Sandringham, the Scorpions fought valiantly to go down by 30 points on Sunday.
The Scorpions worked hard from the start and were kicking with the assistance of a four-goal wind in the first quarter.
Dylan Phitzner was held his own in the ruck and Nigel Carmody provided the Scorpions with plenty of drive through the midfield.

The Zebras had last use of the wind and used their experience to run over the Scorpions late in the last quarter.
