WILD winds caused havoc throughout Casey last week with emergency services stretched to the limit.
Narre Warren SES members were called out to about 30 jobs within a 24-hour period with the worst of the weather coming last Tuesday week.
Most of the incidents were fallen trees blocking roads, according to Narre Warren SES media officer Kanny Lee.
“Other jobs consisted of roof tiles which had been blown off in the wind,” she said.
“Narre Warren SES had a couple of crews in the field for around eight hours assisting distressed residents with the disaster that the wind had caused.”
She said the callouts were spread evenly across the city.
