A WOULD-BE thief left a ‘hole’ lot of damage this week when he broke into Eumemmerring Primary School.
The break in occurred between 9pm and 9.25pm on Sunday but the raider left the Doveton Avenue school empty handed after an alarm was activated.
Detectives said the person involved had accessed a storeroom before making a hole in a plaster wall.
It is not known whether the culprit entered any classrooms but school staff believe nothing was stolen.
Anyone with information regarding the break in can contact Narre Warren CIU on 9705 3111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
