POLICE have charged two men over a car jacking in Eumemmerring early last Thursday morning.
The charges were laid after three people were threatened at gunpoint and forced to get out of their vehicle, which was parked outside McDonald’s.
The woman driver of the Holden Calais, her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend were all uninjured during the attack.
Police said they apprehended the men at Tooronga Railway Station about 7.30am the same day.
A 33-year-old Dandenong North man and a 34-year-old Hampton Park man have been charged with aggravated burglary, armed robbery, firearm offences and other related charges.
Several items were also seized at the scene of the arrest.
Both men are set to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
