A PERTH couple has left Narre Warren more than $260,000 richer after recently winning Tattslotto.
The division one system seven ticket was bought from Fountain Gate Lotteries in Narre Warren for the first Wednesday draw of the year.
Agency manager and owner Joseph Beiruti said his staff were thrilled by the division one win.
He said the couple, who wanted to remain anonymous, were aged in their mid50s and were visiting family in Narre Warren for Christmas and New Year when they had their big win.
The couple has since returned to Western Australia and Mr Beiruti said they were thinking about using some of the $263,800 to purchase a home in the Narre Warren area.
“They visit here quite often so they were thinking about buying a house for when they come over,” he said.
Mr Beiruti said the couple had chosen their lucky numbers from house numbers, family birthdays and their car registration.
He has owned the Fountain Gate store for twoandahalf years with his wife Naja and son Elias, and said the family was excited by its business’ first big win of the year.
“We were very excited when we got the call from head office to say we had sold a division one,” Mr Beiruti said.
“The feeling and the buzz here is just great and when we tell the customers their eyes pop up and they think ‘that could be me next’.
“Let’s hope there are more wins to come.”
