THE circus was in town last week at Hillsmeade Primary School in Narre Warren South when students enjoyed a sensational day of performance.
The school’s gym was transformed into a big top for the day and prep and grade two students made a flag to hang in the tent to add to the circus atmosphere.
They also took part in various circus activities and performed for parents and visitors who came along to watch.
The students have been looking at all elements of performance this term as part of their literacy and numeracy studies.
They also attended a recent Little Devils Circus program and had great success learning activities such as juggling, tight rope walking, hoola hooping, devil sticks, ribbon twirling and other great circus skills.
