BUDDING scientists at Fountain Gate Primary School will be setting up experiments as the school officially opens its new science room.
The portable classroom, which was delivered to the school during the school holiday period, will enable the students to engage in the science program.
Last year the school implemented the science program as a specialist subject, where the students from Grades 3 to 6 spend an hour each week learning about all aspects of science.
Teacher Maryse Mannix said the science program had proved to be effective, as it gave the students a hands-on learning experience.
