As a part of the school’s weeklong Celebrating Learning festivities, Tuesday was the day for students to invite grandparents back to school and show them exactly what goes on in the modern day classroom.
Throughout the day students shared gardening tips with their grandparents, who no doubt had some good advice of their own for the school’s plantation patches.
Students across all year levels also involved grandparents in classroom activities, be it story time, maths or English. Perhaps an even better use for the family bonding day would have been to get grandma or grandpa just to finish that odd bit of homework to free up some spare play time after school.
