Ram raid on service station

A SHELL service station in Endeavour Hills was ramraided on Sunday morning, but the offenders left emptyhanded.
A short time later the Mobil service station at Heatherton Road was also broken into, with two men smashing a wooden doorframe with a sledge hammer to gain entry.
Police said the first incident occurred between 5.16am and 5.25am, with the offenders driving a car through a front window panel.
They then smashed locks on an office door before trying to open a safe but left after an alarm was activated.
Police said the Mobil service station was broken into between 5.20am and 5.35am, with the offenders gaining entry to the rear storeroom before leaving emptyhanded.
Several thousand dollars worth of damage was caused at both premises.
Video surveillance captured two men leaving the scene in a car believed to be a Ford.
They were wearing balaclavas and dark tracksuit pants.
Anyone with any information should phone Detective Senior Constable Dean Hedge of Narre Warren CIU on 9705 3111.
