SOME soon-to-be Thomas Mitchell Primary School students got a taste of what life will be like for the next few years recently.
The youngsters were treated to a day at the Endeavour Hills school as part of the prep transition program. Teachers got into the swing of things by dressing up as various characters to help the children settle in.
Several activities were also scheduled for the day, including story telling, making paper teddy bears and singing songs.
There will be a few more transition sessions throughout the last term to make sure the daunting first few weeks of school in 2008 go as smoothly as possible.
