ENDEAVOUR Hills Police are warning drivers to keep their cool as the Christmas season nears.
Senior Constable Martin Read said that road rage assaults and reports increased significantly as Christmas neared.
“Instead of getting themselves stressed people just need to take a deep breath and walk away from an angry confrontation,” Sen Const Read said.
The warning comes after a reported road rage incident during which a 32-year-old Churchill truckdriver allegedly assaulted a 58-year-old Hallam man.
The alleged assault took place in Heatherton Road, Endeavour Hills, about 4.45pm on 1 November.
