Police hunt 10 after bashing

POLICE are hunting 10 men who viciously bashed a man outside a 16th birthday party in Narre Warren recently.
The 23-year-old Cranbourne man was kicked, punched and beaten with a baton in what police described as a premeditated attack.
The assault happened in the early hours of Sunday, 22 April outside the Narre Warren Mechanics Institute Hall on Webb Street.
Police said the bashing was sparked after the victim yelled at the occupants of a white VT Commodore for driving erratically.
About 15 minutes later, 10 men returned in a yellow van, picked out their victim and bashed him.
The man suffered head injuries in the attack and was transported to Casey Hospital where he required 12 stitches to his head.
Narre Warren Police are appealing for anyone who attended the party and may have seen the occupants of either vehicle to contact them on 9705 3111.
