New Firefox released by Mozilla

Nick Verhaar
The world we live in today is becoming increasingly dependent upon digital technologies and the internet, not only to do business, but also to help us get through our every day lives.
For many people, simply browsing the Internet has become an absolute necessity, and it is actually reaching the stage where your regular internet browser just doesn’t cut it in terms of security and functionality.
This is where the Mozilla Foundation have proven themselves as a serious competitor amongst the top Internet browsers available today.
The Mozilla Foundation have been hard at work on their latest installment of the Firefox browser, improving and developing the already exceptional browser out of sight.
Weighing in at a mere 5 megabytes, the latest Firefox release packs more features and functionality than you could ever hope to achieve from Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, which commonly forces users into hefty downloads in excess of 70 megabytes.
Improved virus, spyware, and adware blocking are just a taste of what’s in store for users of the new Firefox.
A lot of development time has also gone into the performance and behaviour of the new Firefox browser, resulting in a faster, leaner and cleaner browser with no memory leaks or performance issues that some previous versions seemed to suffered from.
Automatic updates are a new addition in this release, keeping your browser up to date with security and feature enhancements as they become available.
Another extremely useful feature is the ability to download and install additional extensions, making it possible to incorporate functionality such as weather reports, download managers, and hundreds of other exciting plugins to improve your browsing experience.

You may also wish to check out ThunderBird, Mozilla’s brilliant email client, which is also available to download for free from their website.
