NARRE Warren Bowls Club had a good result at home in Saturday’s RVBA pennant round seven against Hampton Park in division four, section six, winning 18/119 to -/62.
R. Naismith, I. Brotherton, K. Hocking, J. Van Vugt (s) won 33/16. P. O’Day, J. Hewitt, L. McCurren, M. Olden (s) won 29/15. S. Birkett, B. Brewster, F. Fox, G. Manifold (s) won 35/13. R. Naughton, L. Wilcox, N. Bell, J. Heathcote (s) won 22/18.
Division six, section six played Dandenong City (s) away and lost 3/86 to 15/102.
J. Uren, B. Potter, A. Tatterson, D. Amezdroz (s) won 23/22. S. Firmin, J. Sheahan, J. Schwennesen, C. Heath (s) drew 22/22. L. O’Brien, K. Blencowe, H. McCombe, L. Black (s) lost 18/21. M. Graham, M. Cole, H. Zethof, C. Cowley (s) lost 23/37.

In Tuesday’s ladies pennant round seven, Narre Warren played against neighbours Berwick away which saw a titanic struggle with two rinks each being shared ending up with scores tied 82/82.
G. Hocking, B. Baldwin, B. Bemrose, N. Pugh (s) lost 17/23, E. Naismith. J. Fox, J. Naughton, E. Gibb (s) won 28/16. D. McGann, M. Clancy, D. Farrell, S. Bell (s) won 20/19. M. Horton, J. Bretherton, N. Dickie, E. Arnott (s) lost 17/24.
WEDNESDAY RESULTS
Wednesday’s nominated pairs winners were M. Deering, F. Jarvis (s). Runners-up were J. Smith, D. Smith (s). Best last game winners were S. Bell, N. Bell (s).
LADIES GALA DAY
Friday’s ladies gala day with 28 teams taking part from Berwick, Blue Hills, Burden Park, Cranbourne, Cranbourne RSL, Dandenong Club, Dandenong City, Dandenong RSL/Rec, Edithvale, Keysborough, Kooweerup, Mornington, Pakenham, Waverley Golf, Narre Warren and played two games of 13 ends in cold, but dry conditions.
Single-game winners were the Cranbourne team. Runners-up were the Dandenong Club.
Dandenong City team was winners of the day with novelty event winners from Berwick, Blue Hills, Keysborough and Cranbourne ending a very successful day.
SOCIAL BOWLS
Saturday’s social bowls winners were J. Brewster, G. Haringsma, B. Potter (s). Runners-up were W. Haringsma, N. Dickie (s).
