NARRE Warren Bowls Club’s RVBA division four, section six side had a strong away win over Bennettswood (2) 15/102 to 3/80 in round 12 of pennant on Saturday.
R. Naughton, C. Cowley, J. Heathcote, N. Bell (s) won 30/22. S. Birkett, C. Heath, B. Brewster, R. Naismith (s) drew 22/22. P. O’Day, J. Hewitt, L. McCurran, M. Olden (s) lost 20/22. L. O’Brien, I. Brotherton, G. Manifold, J. Van Vugt (s) won 30/14.
Division six, section six played Glen Waverley (6) at home and had to lower its colours after a tight match 4/95 to 14/98.
J. Uren, M. Cole, H. Zethof, L. Wilcox (s) lost 17-33. S. Firmin, J. Schwennesen, J. Sheahan, F. Fox (s) won 26/16. P. Roughan, A. Kidd, H. McCombe, L. Black (s) won 31/26. M. Graham, B. Potter, D. Amezdroz, K. Hocking (s) lost 21/23.

Monday’s summer indoor bowls at Narre Warren at 7pm, winners were R. Brewster, V. Khoury, J. Morrow, I. Adcock (s).
Sunday, 4 December, The Blind Bowlers Association enjoyed their annual opening day event held at Narre Warren.
Although small in numbers, it was enjoyed by all that attended.
The winners were J. Thompson, W. Miline, C. Cowley (s). Runners-up were L. Belostoky, S. Bell, P. Stephenson, B. Brewster (s).

Thursday’s ladies charity day in aid of VLBA nominated charity Motor Neurone Disease Association was a success and played over two games with a sausage sizzle lunch.
