Narre North’s winning ways

NARRE North’s first eleven continues its domination of B grade, achieving a first-innings victory against Coomoora on the opening day of the round.
Coomoora was dismissed for 92, with Zed Villic (3/6), Robbie Anderson (3/21) and Leon Lutersz (2/25) doing the damage. Narre North then hit up the required runs by day’s end, finishing on 117. Taffin Akin was the best of the bats making 28.
D GRADE
Thanks to a good opening partnership of 79, and some further partnerships throughout the day, Narre North finished with a first-innings total of 192.
Best of the batsmen was Mark Kedylian with 63 and well supported by Trevor Callender with 27.
E GRADE
After winning the toss and sending the opposition in to bat, Narre North dismissed Dandenong for 150, thanks to some good bowling by Nick Long (4/18), Shane Adams (3/37) and Richard Piening (2/41). By the finish of the day’s play Narre North was 3/20 in reply.
ONE DAY
Thanks to a very fast outfield that didn’t suit the pace of the Narre North fielders, Cranbourne managed to make 190 runs from its 36 overs.
In reply Narre North lost wickets at regular intervals, stopping it from gaining any momentum and it was only a 70-run partnership between a very stylish Paul Dowling (19) and Brian Scouler making a brutal 55 not out that allowed it to amass a respectable 140.
UNDER 15 (1)
Narre North fought back after being in a precarious position at 4/47 to finish the day’s play at 6/152.
This was due to some gutsy middle-order batting that turned the tide and then some very aggressive batting by Nathan Pulham 32 and Stuart Patterson 30 not out.
UNDER 15 (2)
A very good bowling and batting performance saw Narre North dismiss Keysborough for 68 and then reach 2/29 at stumps.
Best of the bowlers were
Daniel Dowling with an excellent 4/4, Bradie Gledhill 1/8 and Nathan Scouler 1/5.
Mathew Jolme was the best of the Narre North batsmen being 19 not out at day’s end.
UNDER 15 (3)
Narre North did extremely well to dismiss Hampton Park for 73, thanks to some excellent bowling from Jamie Heins (2/11) and Isaac Raymont (2/15) considering the side was two players down.
Narre North then reached 1/69 at the end of the day’s play, thanks to the fine innings of Sahil Sahib (27 not out) and Isaac Raymont (10 not out).
UNDER 13 (1)
Narre North won the toss and decided to bat and then posted a very competitive 7/207.
This was due to some good partnerships from Ryan Grafton (26 not out), Prasanth Radhakrishran (28 not out) and Shawn Fernando (25 not out).
A final wicket partnership from Chris Edwards (21) and Jack Young (29) helped post the excellent first-innings total.
UNDER 13 (2)
Narre North fielded first and was very enthusiastic throughout the innings to dismiss Parkville for 125.
Best of the bowlers were Exsith Ranasinge (2/6), James King (2/9), Mandeep Singh (2/12) and Darren Swaris (2/15)
UNDER 13 (3)
Fielding first, Narre North started well holding Cranbourne to 1/13 after 12 overs before too many extras allowed the opposition to post a score of 130.
Best of the bowlers was Jarred Cook taking 1/2.
UNDER 11 (SATURDAY)
Winning the toss, Narre Warren batted first and compiled a massive 214 runs.
Best of the batsmen were Marshall Gray (33), Jack Farmer (15) and Jack Sorocynski (7).
UNDER 11 JOEYS (BLACK)
Narre North batted well to score 60, with Tim Mashado (nine) being the best of the batsmen.
The boys then dismissed Narre Warren for 59 with Tim Mashado again doing well with 1/9, Zak Calvert (1/7) and Braydan Hunter (1/7) being the best with the ball.
UNDER 11 JOEYS (BLUE)
An excellent effort and all had a great time.
Narre North scored 58 with James Gascord (nine) and Jackson Craig (seven) being the best against Heinz Southern District that scored 95.
Best of the bowlers were Nick Moon (2/12) and Ben Des (1/9)
