WESTFIELD Fountain Gate will be the Melbourne location for the semi-finals of Australian Idol’s nationwide search to unearth Australia’s best singing mum.
Mums over the age of 18 are invited to log onto the Australian Idol website, download entry forms and send in a DVD of their performance.
Video performances will then be judged and the top five performances of each state will be invited to perform at a Westfield in their capital city.
The Melbourne semi-final will be held on Thursday 11 October at Westfield Fountain Gate.
One finalist from each state will then be flown to Sydney to compete in the final round of the competition at a Westfield shopping centre.
The winner will receive $5000 cash and a family trip to Sydney where they will perform at the Australian Idol Grand Final Outdoor Concert on 25 November. Entries close on 28 September.
