MORE than 900 Big Macs were sold at Endeavour Hills McDonald’s on Saturday as part of a record- breaking McHappy day.
Six-time professional world champion kick boxer Gurkan Ozkan, members of the Narre Warren North CFA, Casey councillor Roland Abraham, the Endeavour Hills Police and the Endeavour Hills YMCA all helped to raise $1,839 for Royal McDonald House Charities.
One dollar from the sale of every Big Mac went to that charity that supports many programs to help seriously ill children live happier and healthier lives.
At nearby Fountain Gate a whopping 1,625 Big Macs were sold and another $147 raised in extra donations.
The Fords Down Under Car Club, Maramba Primary School band and Narre Warren CFA helped out on the day that raised a record $1.3 million nationwide.
