Man questioned over hit and run

A 19-YEAR-OLD Endeavour Hills man has been questioned about a hit-and-run incident that left a man, 26, with two broken legs and serious head injuries.
Police are investigating the incident that occurred in Endeavour Hills about 11pm last Thursday at the intersection of John Fawkner Drive and Raymond McMahon Boulevard. The man has been questioned in relation to the incident and police said they expected failing to stop at the scene and failing to render assistance charges to be laid soon .
Police were also investigating the current status of the driver’s licence and further charges could be laid.
It is alleged the man fled the scene before attending the Endeavour Hills Police Station to assist officers with their inquiries shortly after the incident.
The injured man was taken to The Alfred hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
