A BERWICK man will spend the next four years in jail for his role in a $2 million bank fraud.
James Roderick Faneco appeared before the County Court last week to answer 12 counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception, eight of attempting to obtain financial advantage by deception and one of using a forged document. Faneco, 59, pleaded guilty and was sentenced by Judge Frank Dyett to six and a half years’ jail with a minimum period of four years.
