Man charged after search

A 29YEAROLD man was arrested on Monday after a search warrant was executed at his Dandenong North home.
A man was interviewed and charged with five counts of burglary and theft in relation to a recent spate of burglaries in Narre Warren North.
Detective Sergeant Garry Kear of Narre Warren CIU said the man was also charged with two counts of obtaining property by deception, one count of prohibited possession of a firearm and with the possession and use of a drug of dependence.
Det Sgt Kear said a small amount of property had been recovered at the Dandenong North home.
The man appeared in the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and has been remanded to appear again on Tuesday, 7 February.
No application for bail had been lodged.
