CASEY City Church has revitalised a disused building for community use.
The dormant Light Up Australia site, close to Fountain Gate, has been transformed into City Edge, a multi-purpose hub of business and community services.
City Edge is now home to retail stores and service-oriented businesses.
Liese Boutique is a clothing boutique which trades alongside Parable Christian Store, offering fiction and non-fiction books, bibles, gifts, music and DVDs.
Service oriented businesses include Dube Creative Web Design and Community Alliance Real Estate (CARE).
Stage two of the develop-ment is expected to be complete before Christmas.
The final additions as part of Stage two include a 150-seat conference centre available for public hire and adjoined by Edge Café with an outdoor playground and decking area.
The conference centre also will be the new home for Casey City Church.
