Kids join Pies

MORE than 20 Casey youngsters got the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of Collingwood’s best during a special training session recently.
The children, aged from six to 12, were lucky enough to win the prize in a McDonald’s Restaurant competition last month.
The 24 locals joined 450 other children for a training run at Olympic Park.
Collingwood players helped with the skills session and also signed autographs throughout the day.
A McDonald’s spokesman said it was thrilled to offer the chance to those involved.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity for the children to be inspired by some of the best players in the AFL,” he said.
“We hope it will encourage them to take their skills to the next level and have fun at the same time.”
