Increasing women’s wealth

A FREE workshop will be held in Cranbourne this month designed to help women bridge the wealth gap between themselves and men.
The Steps to Securing your Financial Future workshop program, aimed at improving Victorian women’s financial confidence, is part of Women and Money Month.
The workshop will be held at the Merinda Park Community Centre on 8, 15, 22 and 29 October at 6.30pm.
State Minister for Women’s Affairs Maxine Morand said gender mattered when it came to financial security.
“We are working in partnership with the community to build stronger families and one way to do that is to increase women’s financial security and confidence,” she said.
More than 600 women across Victoria took part in the workshops and seminars during last year’s inaugural Women and Money Month.
The month is a partnership between the Victorian Government’s Office of Women’s Policy, QV Women’s Centre and WIRE Women’s Information.
