POLICE are reminding parents to be aware of their teenager’s activities as the summer holidays approach.
Sergeant John Blackburn said that the recent good weather and the end of school has made way for underage parties to be organised celebrating the end of year and Christmas.
He warned parents to make sure that they were aware of underage drinking and the number of kids expected at any party that they may hold or allow their own children to attend.
“We don’t want to stop kids enjoying themselves, but we want to keep them safe,” Sgt Blackburn said.
