IN a game that could have gone either way, Hampton Park Bowls Club had to settle for a draw against Mulgrave CC in RVBA pennant at the weekend.
On rink 16, with a replacement player, Rob Woff, Geoff Ampt and skip Bob Woodfield trailed all day to go down by eight shots (19-27).
Les Unwin, Alan Wilcock, Robert Naismith maintained their lead throughout the game to finish five shots up (24-19).
Andrew Brandolin, Lance Davis, Ken Cobden and skip Geoff Ladner came from 10 shots down to win by three (24-21).
Paul Barna, Chris Hendrie, David Hendrie and skip Neville Hendrie ended with a draw when the last bowl hung out (20-20).

Hampton Park 10-87 drew with Mulgrave CC 8-87.
The Parkers were tested by Willow Lodge on their home green, winning three of the four rinks.
Lino Da Pos, Bill Tannahill, Grace Hogan and skip Keith Damon held on to win by just one shot (22-21).
A 17-shot lead early in the game allowed Basil Pope, Pat Moevasa, Heather Naismith and skip Bob Nicol to record a good win (29-20).
Keith McCarthy, Eddie Graafsma, Ray Wood and skip Ray Leggett had their lead cut in half over the final ends (28-22).
Dropping eight shots on the first two ends left Gerry Cox, Greg Pentland, Allan Unwin and skip Bill Webb with an uphill battle (18-28).

The Parkers put in a very strong performance against Moorabbin at Keysborough.
It was tight to the 14th end and then Jim Westwell, Andrew Brandolin, Ann Westwell and skip Graham Slight pulled away (27-14).
Chris Hendrie, Ray Leggett, Geoff Ampt and skip Neville Hendrie dropped only six ends in their 24-shot win (35-11).
Ray Wood, Keith Damon, Lance Davis and skip Geoff Ladner took off from the start to score a win by 22 shots (32-10).
Hampton Park 12-94 d Moorabbin 0-35.
