THE Yarra Ridge Challenge was held at Churchill Park Golf Club in Endeavour Hills recently, with a successful event put on as part of the Yarra Valley winery’s key sponsorship of golf clubs around Victoria.
The competition was dominated by Eva Moore 38, Cheryl Moyle 37, Pamela Phillips 35, who gained the top scores of the day in a Stableford event. They won prize packs consisting of a range of Yarra Ridge’s finest wines.
For those that didn’t win at the golf, the club hosted a Yarra Ridge wine tasting after the 18 holes play.
The tasting sought to demystify the world of wine with a master class showcasing Yarra Ridge’s premium range and educating those interested in what to look for in great wine.
Sarah Myers from Yarra Ridge attended the event and said it was a great get together, with a glass of wine at the end of the day making it worthwhile for all.
