Getting the reading bug

THE theme of “a bug’s life” entertained children aged three to six at Narre Warren Library on Tuesday afternoon.
Children were amused with stories about insects, a few songs and making a caterpillar headband.
Librarian Ann Delahoy said the aim was “to get children used to books and language, hopefully encouraging them to join the library”.
“They’re (the children) usually quite positive. They participate well with the songs,” she said.
