Gaming online for free

Nick Verhaar
If you’re the kind of person that enjoys playing computer games in the good old fashioned style then this may well keep you entertained for hours on end and keep you coming back for more for a long time to come.
A company called Jippii Club is dedicated to providing a multiplayer gaming environment that hosts a wide range of games.
These games include pool, MiniGolf, trivia, chess, 4-In-A-Line, Battleships and a whole list of others.
The main focus of the site is the chat room or forum.
Upon launching the site and entering a username for yourself, you will be thrown into the main meeting room.
From here you can converse with other players to find yourself an opponent, brag about how good you are, or to simply just talk about the weather and have a good old chat with some of the other players.
Once you have found yourself an opponent, it’s simply a matter of selecting the game you wish to play and setting the rules you wish to play by.
This can be done by either yourself or your opponent, and is probably a good idea to ask your opponent to do so first, at least until you get comfortable with the world of Jippii and the way things work.
Depending on which game you select, there can be quite a few different settings and for someone new to the site, it can quite easily become confusing and overwhelming.
From here on in the fun begins and you may find yourself becoming friendly with some of your opponents.
It’s even quite common for users of Jippii to be organising regular play-offs between themselves and various people they’ve never even met before from the complete opposite sides of the globe.
Whatever your preference, whether it be to test your skills and match up against other players, or simply have a relaxing game of MiniGolf by yourself, Jippii does all of this completely free of charge and all you need is a basic web browser that supports the use of Java.
If you would like to throw yourself right into the thick of it and play some games online then check out the Jippii Club by pointing your web browser to http://www.jippii.com/games.
