AN Endeavour Hills school had a sizzling fundraiser last month when it held a barbecue at a Dandenong hardware store.
Eleven parents and five staff from Chalcot Lodge Primary School sold nearly 30 kilograms of sausages, 30 loaves of bread and 10 kilograms of onions during the fundraising event, organised by the grade six fundraising committee.
Lots of families from Chalcot Lodge Primary School visited the Bunnings Warehouse to buy sausages during the day-long fundraising.
Principal Kay Schlanger said the day was a great success with wonderful community involvement and a lot of fun was had by all.
“Most importantly a lot of money was raised for the kids,” she said.
