LIFE is excellent.
That was the message on Friday when students from Hillcrest Christian College in Clyde North took part in EXODAY celebrations.
The event is run by Christian students and aims to bring students together and help promote selfesteem and friendship.
Melissa Gilchrist, EXODAY coordinator and school senate member, said more than 500 schools held EXODAY events through out Australia each year.
“This is a huge event in our school and I love doing it.
“I love to show students how great life is.
“The amazing thing about this is that you never know how much a community will support you when you ask.
“Our school has been donated so many things and this has kept the right EXODAY message within our school,” she said.
Students were entertained by Christian band Miss Charity and enjoyed loads of giveaways and a free sausage sizzle.
Members from Narre Warren police ran a fastball competition and there were also eating competitions and a caricaturist to draw students.
