Fighting win for Cranbourne RSL

CRANBOURNE RSL division-three team came home with a great seven-shot victory at Pakenham in round 12 of pennant on Saturday.
Another tight match saw RSL fight to the last end to gain the extra 10 bonus points for the match win.
After being down 15 shots at tea, and both sides each winning two rinks, it was at the 99th end again and RSL, with just three shots up overall, the match could have gone either way.
Four shots were picked up on the last end after a Pakenham drive took out RSL’s only shot bowl, but shifted the jack over to four waiting RSL bowls.
