YARRA Glen Cup day was a triumph for the Wynne family of Cranbourne after Spot The Line, ridden by Sally and trained by mother Dianne, saluted in the fifth race.
To top the afternoon off, Sally’s father Kevin, a former leading jockey in his own right, was a clerk of the course on the day and had the honour of leading his family’s horse back to scale at the head of the field.
Spot The Line bolted in by over two lengths, paying $8 on the TAB, and made it two Cranbourne trained winners for the afternoon after Greg Eurell’s maiden runner Our Jackie won an earlier race.
Family has that wynning feeling
