FAMILIES have been flocking to Doveton’s Myuna Farm in their droves these school holidays with the baby animals proving a huge hit.
Resident manager Bob Barker said they had been “absolutely flat out” with up to 50 families visiting the Kidd Road farm each day.
Mr Barker said the goats, lambs and baby animals were popular as children could enter the pens and touch the animals.
He said the Thomas the Tank engine rides and pony rides were also popular and there was plenty of shade on warmer days.
Family tickets to Myuna farm cost $15 and include two parents, all children and even grandparents.
“We have some families that come in with six or eight children,” Mr Barker said.
“We did not want the family ticket to just cover two parents and two children as people often have more.”
Mr Barker said schools and families from across the state travelled to Doveton to enjoy the farm experience.
Myuna Farm is open seven days a week from 10am until 4pm.
