CASEY families have been invited to celebrate Easter this Sunday at the Berwick Salvation Army Church.
The annual Family Fun Day will be held from 2pm to 5pm and lots of fun activities have been planned.
Organiser Jenny Brohier said last year’s event attracted 200 local residents and the church was hoping for an even stronger turnout these holidays.
Easter hat-making activities and an Easter bonnet parade have been organised as well as competitions, free amusements, music, fairy floss, face painting and clowns.
Ms Brohier said the day aimed to bring the community together and people were welcome to stay for the 5pm Easter church service.
Volunteers from the church’s playgroup have helped organised the event, and Ms Brohier also invited families to attend the Wednesday morning group, which runs from 10am to 11.30am.
Ms Brohier said the cost of the playgroup was $2 and parents also needed to provide a snack.
For more information about the playgroup call Ms Brohier on 9769 7078.
The Berwick Salvation Army Church is on the corner of Ernst Wanke Road and Parkhill Drive, Berwick.
