FIRE trucks will line the car park at Krispy Kreme Fountain Gate this weekend as the Narre Warren Fire Brigade holds its CFA awareness day.
Families will be treated to a day of activities on Saturday including exploring the fire trucks, face painting, the CFA race game, home and kitchen fire safety information and free give-aways.
Children will also get the opportunity to meet Captain Koala.
Lieutenant Damien Baker from the Narre Warren Fire Brigade said the event, which runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm, would give the community a chance to meet their local firefighters.
“People can speak to the firefighters and seek fire safety advice,” he said.
Krispy Kreme Fountain Gate will donate part of the day’s proceeds to the Narre Warren Fire Brigade.
Mr Baker said the funds would be used to purchase a catering trailer and will also go towards the new station, which is set to open in Narre Warren South.
